Sensory Assessments
We provide assessments for our clients to help determine sensory issues that can impact upon their functioning. Across the senses of hearing, smell, touch, taste and sight, individuals can have difficulties with sensory modulation, where too much or not enough information is being received. Where an environment is producing large or small amounts of stimuli, difficulties with sensory processing can lead to unwanted behavioural responses.
Our comprehensive sensory assessment allows us to understand an individual’s sensory profile and allow us to develop appropriate strategies to avoid/limit adverse behavioural responses to sensory stimuli.
